Welcome to Quail Crossing...our most secluded vacation rental in Joshua Tree. Tucked away in the Bartlett Mountains of Joshua Tree and worlds away from the busy life and bright lights of the city- it is truly a place where peace can be found. This open and spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath home sits on 5 undisturbed acres and is perfect for large groups, families with children, or couples wanting seclusion. Newly built, the home offers a modern kitchen, upscale furnishings, indoor Jacuzzi tub, flat screen TV with satellite, DVD player with library, iPod stereo dock, fabulous gas Weber grill, full outdoor play set for children, 2 queen size beds, and two sets of bunk beds. This home will sleep up to 8 max.
Quail Crossing is the last house on a dead end road connecting to hundreds of preserved acres serving as your backyard playground. Magnificent views of Joshua Tree National Park can be seen from the large living room slider and is just an 8 mile drive from the house. Wake up to an amazing sunrise with quail and cottontails playing outside your bedroom window, then take your pick from the multitude of outdoor seating and hammocks and enjoy the silence as you watch for the hundreds of other animals- jackrabbits, lizards, antelope squirrels, coyotes, desert tortoises, hawks, bobcat and more- that thrive in this protected area. A wonderful sunset while enjoying the warmth of the outdoor fire place and then the bats come out to play, followed by a sweeping night sky full of shooting stars.
Complimentary whole bean coffee and various condiments are always available. Sorry, absolutely no pets are allowed (even the most well behaved) at this home.
Despite its isolation, you’ll find excellent cell phone reception. The house, purposely designed to take advantage of its setting, is cooled by evaporative cooling during the summer months.
