A perfect desert get-away with hot tub and private yard
The Sunset Terrace is a personal favorite for our returning guests. Warm and inviting with touches of rustic desert art and modern amenities make it appealing to all tastes. This is a comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath home that sits on 5 acres of pristine Mojave Desert land with dozens of ancient Joshua Trees. This beautiful home offers a modern kitchen with custom concrete counter tops, a flat screen TV, DVD player with a small movie library, stereo/CD player, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV, 2 queen size beds and 2 twin beds that can also be made into a king size. The home will sleep 6 comfortably.
The side yard of the Sunset Terrace offers a gas grill to cook your meals on and outdoor fire pit to keep you warm on winter nights. Our comfortable outdoor seating along with the hammock strung under the shade of the cottonwood tree offer places to fully relax while visiting with the bunnies, road runners, birds, lizards and quail. Finally, enjoy a soak in the hot tub while gazing up at the desert night sky. The Terrace yard is fenced for your privacy.
This home has had its share of visitors from romantic trips for two, family vacations, artists and musicians getaways to girls weekends, families being reunited with members of the military, friends creating new memories together, and now… we welcome you.
Complimentary whole been coffee and various condiments are always available. Sorry, no pets are allowed at this home.

Long time friend and local architect Nicholas Holmes of Holmes Ecological Design is displaying some of his photography with a desert theme in The Terrace House. We are proud to display his work and hope you enjoy his attention to detail and color. Prices are listed in the home.
Local artist and rock climbing guide Dianna Durr has studied fine arts since the 80’s. She has beautified The Sunset Terrace House with her art work from the beginning and continues to offer her work to our guest at prices much lower than gallery pricing.

Diane Best was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied in the San Francisco area (Stanford University, San Francisco Art Institute), before moving south to Los Angeles. There, she did commercial artwork for the entertainment industry and commissioned portraits, while pursuing and showing her original work.
